Description
Experience Level: Entry
I would like someone to create an Excel/Word Visual Basic Macro to:
- Take multiple fields from a single MS Excel (.xls) file and transfer them to multiple MS Word (.doc) documents.
- Excel Fields can be across multiple tabs and columns in the same Excel file
- When the Excel file fields are updated then the Word documents will also update (when they are opened)
- May need some kind of 'refresh' on the Word docs to trigger updates
- Word updating should update "Content Control" fields (or similar) in Word so that I can place the controls in the word documents easily
- A single Excel file should feed multiple Word documents
- Word documents should be in a sub-folder
- "Content Control" should work in Header/Body/Footer also
- There should be limited error/warning messages
I already have an Excel file and Word documents that do EXACTLY this but they are password protected (file and VB) - so I can give you a set of files that replicate what I would like to achieve but I can't see the code underneath. (see attached - to work UserInput.xls needs to be at root and other two files in a folder called "GDPRDocuments" - rest should be self-explanatory)
I hope that someone may have just done this before, or is a better Googler than me and can pass on the code.
Payment only on a complete working solution.
