Description
Experience Level: Expert
We need to complete the following stages of our e-learning platform. Our company is called UseBecause.com. We convert soft skill business books into online, interactive certified courses.
We have completed the wordpress/moodle integration by using an open source piece of software called Edweiser bridge. The following are our top priorities before pushing the platform live for beta testing.
1. Platform user access levels:
1.1 Super admin for UseBecause.com employees – ability to add/remove admin users and all functionality of ‘admin’ and ‘user’. The super admin must be given the option to limited the number of courses to an admin, see screen grab.
1.2 Admin – Key contact in a company – ability to add/remove individual users, ability to add courses to users profile both individually and in bulk, have the ability to see usage statistics of individual users
1.3 User – person taking the courses – ability to add courses to their profile, see their own usage statistics.
2. Recognition of courses being completed – Moodle should know that someone has completed a lesson and bring them to the next lesson. Possibly need developer to provide guidance on what should be included on SCORM/articulate file.
3. Digital notebook – Upon completion of a lesson, a user is given the option to take notes on a lesson. This content should be then saved to a digital notebook for that course.
4. Mobile responsive - when a user logs into our platform on a mobile device the lesson should respond to the size of the screen.
5. Log in from Wordpress to Moodle to be made seamless - presently does not seem connected.
6. Link to be provided to bring user from one lesson to the next - this needs to be included in the articulate file before rendering
7. Spaced repetition summaries – need a way to push automatic notifications to users once they have completed a course. For example; 3 days, 2 weeks and 6 weeks post completion, a user should get a summary of the course to their inbox.
8. Push whole site live.
9. Create a step by step process for how to add courses to completed platform.
10. Remove test versions of courses currently on platform
If you need any clarification, please just let me know.
