Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
I need a sample docker-compose file which wires together the following components:
1. apache webserver
2. jenkins
3. gitlab
4. mysql or postgresql
Requirements:
1. Apache, jenkins, gitlab and mysql should run in separate docker containers wired together by docker-compose.
2. Those containers should communicate over a private network link. Jenins and Gitlab should not use their own databases but use a mysql (or postgresql) running in its own docker container.
3. I should be able to execute the docker-compose file on an ubuntu LTS 16.04 x86 machine
4. the solution can use images from docker hub but no binary files should be included in the solution
5. Apache configuration: users access apache (which runs in a docker container) with a browser and based on the subdomain (e.g jenkins.example.com or gitlab.example.com) they are being forwarded to either jenkins or gitlab.
6. You will commit all files to this public github repository: https://github.com/ggeorgovassilis/codename-vincent/
