Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
General information for the business: Debian Gnu/Linux 7.5
Description of requirements/functionality: Hi guys,
I have my shorewall firewall set up and it is working well. However I need to give some people access through dynamic dns as those do not have an static IP. My server is development and testing so I can definitely cope with the overhead that this may cause.
What I am looking for is someone who can provide the (a) configuration for ssh access to my server in shorewall and the cron script that is required to update that dynamic dns every 15 minutes.
Let's make the server's ip as "myServerIP". See that I am not looking for what the rules, zones and policy would look like. Presumably what it is different here is the hosts file and the cron script.
PS: No I do not want to use IP tables directly. If this cannot be done with shorewall then I shall move on but IP tables isn't a solution for me a this stage.
Thank you.
Dan.
