Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: Personal
Description of requirements/functionality: I've gotten most of the way through configuring an RPi as a wifi repeater but I'm having an issue with configuring the wifi card to repeat the signal.

I've gotten to the Configure Access Point section of the guide on https://learn.adafruit.com/setting-up-a-raspberry-pi-as-a-wifi-access-point/install-software and I'm having an issue with the driver= line. I've tried all sorts but had no joy.

The wifi adapter is Ralink Technology, RT5370 Wireless adapter

And this is the output from lsmod

The problem is that when I run it I get the following output

pi@raspberrypi ~ $ sudo /usr/sbin/hostapd /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf
Configuration file: /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf
Line 2: invalid/unknown driver 'rt5572sta'
1 errors found in configuration file '/etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf'

I'm hoping it's a quick fix and I can open a route in for someone who can help.
OS requirements: Linux
