Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: Software
Description of requirements/functionality: 1-Connect to mailbox with imap
2- locate mail in specific folder, or with specific subject line
3- extract attachment and rename it to something that includes the timestamp
4- save the attachment with the new name to s3 bucket
5-move the mail from the specified folder to a new folder so that it doesn't replicate the load.
6- repeat on a daily basis (run via cron)
This script MUST be written in Ruby 1.9+, and built in a modular fashion (ideally as a Gem) so that we can integrate it with the rest of our system. Configuration should be either via a separate config file, a YAML file or similar. Needs to be built such that we can move config to a database later on if needed.
Specific technologies required: ruby
