Details as follows:
We have a gmail inbox with c. 4,000 emails from 6th June 2018 until the present day.
I need to go through all of these emails in the inbox, download the attachments and move them into a Google Drive Folder - the ultimate aim is to be able to print all of these attachments at the click of one button and they're sorted by supplier and then by date. So supplier 1 attachments for 6th June, 7th June, 8th June etc etc until the present day and then supplier 2 attachments for 6th June, 7th June, 8th June etc and then supplier 3 etc etc.
The file name of attachments need to be renamed in the following format - supplier name (based on their email address) & date email received.
As the code loops through there needs to be a header sheet created after each supplier, each day. So for example, if the supplier is DHL I would expect say X attachments from DHL all from 6th June and then create a header sheet within the Google Drive folder that says 7th June and then another load of attachments for 7th June, and then attachments from 8th June etc etc until we get to the next supplier and so and so on.
The reason for the header sheet is that I would like to be able to print all the 5,000 + attachments at the click of a button and the header sheet will help me divide between the different dates - without this header sheet I can't tell which date the attachments relate to when they've been printed.
I have attempted to write this script myself and have struggled - I used the following:
1) 2d array to identify supplier name from the supplier email
2) Nested loop to iterate through two date ranges (6th June to present day)
3) Nested loop for the gmailapp.search filter
I will provide you with a list of suppliers with their emails - these are the major suppliers (c.20 of them). If there are attachments from suppliers that are not in this list - they need to be uploaded to a sub folder within Google Drive and don't need to be sorted by supplier name.
Are you please able to provide a quote for this? I need it in next 3-4 days please.
Many thanks,
Haroon.
