Description
Experience Level: Entry
General information for the business: Equipment Rental
Description of requirements/functionality: I need someone to just help me figure out what's wrong in my calculation to get stock levels displayed properly in an equipment rental solution.
There's one line per booking, containing start date, days, and calculated end date. Stock levels are scripted and stored in a separate table for a day-by-day stock level display.
In a gantt chart, the bookings are displayed in a repeating field with conditional formatting to show when not empty. This is where I need the stock displayed as well in the form
2/5 2/5 2/5 -1/5 -1/5 2/5
stock level / total stock
Attached screenshots show the calculation for the gantt repeating field (including my efforts to get it to work properly), as well as the gantt chart itself (with stock levels related table visible).
Extra notes: c_gantt_display_MAIN =
Let([
~date = Extend(g_gantt_start_date) + Get ( CalculationRepetitionNumber ) ;
~stock_rep = GetAsNumber( date_start - g_gantt_start_date ) - Get ( CalculationRepetitionNumber ) + 1 ];
If (~date > Extend(date_start) and ~date < Extend(c_date_end) + 2 ;
GetValue (STOCK_LEVELS_lines::stock_level ; ~stock_rep )
& "/" & Extend (PRODUCTS_lines::c_stock)
))
