General information for the business: We buy real estate in UK and need to automate our offer letters to seller
Description of requirements/functionality: We collect data from potential property sellers using Typeform. Customer provides their asking price as part of the form responses.
We need to pull that figure e.g £100,000 and then provide three options to populate a Google Docs offer template with figures calculated from the property value given by the vendor.
We have an offer doc template that has three columns and different prices will be offered to the vendor all reliant on seller's figure of property value.
Example sentence from offer "If you want all cash today, based on the asking price you have stated, we can offer you < (where merge tag takes the valuation figure from Typeform response and calculates a given percentage of that figure i.e. if value = £100,000 the merge tag would calculate a given percentage of that figure and insert it into the offer document.
This figure will then be used as the basis for two further options calculated against the original valuation/asking price given.
The idea is that once the seller has filled in their Typeform the script will pull this number (along with other fields such as the seller's name and physical address of the property), calculate the figures to be inserted in the offer letter in Google Docs and then using Zapier, creates a PDF and using a template Gmail sends the PDF to the seller by return.
This latter part I can handle no problem. My issue is to find an automated way to pull that number from Typeform, to run simple calculations based on that figure which then (using a google docs template) create a new offer addressed to the specific seller. Zapier can then take over the creation of the PDF and email to the Seller.
I can provide a copy of our offer template from Google Docs as well as an example form and responses from Typeform.
I think it's straightforward for someone that knows how to write scripts!
BTW, if this can be done by clever use of Zapier that's also fine.
