I use two plugins on my site:
- all-in-one-event-calendar (v1.8.3) http://time.ly/
- EventEspresso (3.1.29) http://eventespresso.com/
all-in-one-event-calendar (AIOEC) is used to display a calendar of events because I can pull in calendars from subsidiary organisations (using their Google Calendar iCal links)
EventEspresso (EE) is used to manage event bookings.
What I am looking for is a way of integrating the two plugins so that when an event is added in EE, it appears in AIOEC, this could be done in one of two ways:
1. EE events are exported to an iCal feed, which can be imported by AIOEC and displayed as per the other Google Calendar feeds.
2. A simple(?) plugin is written, matching the EE fields to the AIOEC fields so that when an event is added in EE the details are replicated to create an event in the AIOEC database.
Our site is a live site, used by many people for various purposes - as such I would prefer to test the plugin on a duplicate site if at all possible.
