    We design Lightning Protection Systems (LPS) as part of our services. LPS design relies on the 'rolling sphere' concept, so we'd like capacity to build a model (of the structures under study) in Sketchup, then have an extension/add-on to calculate tracking the rolling sphere over all external surfaces of the model until a 'draped' blanket of protection is apparent.

    Extension is the best option and i understand the rolling sphere method. However can you elaborate exactly what you want to analyse. I'm concerned on the UI, i dont want to quote you on something to simple. Do you want me to submit a proposal so we can discuss this in the chat?
