Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the business: An information exchange website
Description of requirements/functionality: Hi,
I have attempted to create a custom module (code attached) that is able to look at the Webforms, Taxonomy and Field modules tables, extract the data and export it as a word file from a template using PHPDocx (trial version included in .zip).
I have been able to get this to work so far by breaking out the code into logic layers as .inc files. However, I am trying to get an IT team to install this on my hosted Drupal environment but they are refusing due to several facts.
1. The .module file is empty and they claim that the whole folder looks more like a library than a module.
2. It must integrate with the features and feature set modules using API 2, which I don’t understand how to do.
3. Apparently It doesn’t conform to Drupal coding standards as I have had to bootstrap the Database Layer manually to be able to access the database
My Argument is that it doesn’t need to be a module but the IT team is insisting it must be.
So what I would need from you is a module that can:
• Export all the submissions from a single Webform using the PHPdocx library and template (the code is mostly provided)
• Integrate with the Features and Feature Set modules (i.e. be able to be turned on and off through feature set)
• Alter the Webforms module download button on the “Results” page to trigger the download.
• Create an admin page where I can upload a new template to be used (This would be nice but definitely not a must have)
Please let me know if there is anything else you need from me.
This is fairly urgent and would appreciate it if this could be completed by early to mid next week.
Many thanks,
James
