Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: An offers website where people share offers
Description of requirements/functionality: I have a website that has been created in CakePHP and MySQL, people can share offers from the internet that they find
I would like a browser plugin so if for example people are browsing a site such as PC world and press the button for this extension it will pop a form up and pre populate as much as possible (using the og:title, og:image, the url). It will then send the URL back to my site to be checked and my site will send back a yes or no as to whether they work with my site to display a certain message.
It will also require users to login to the plugin the first time and can authenticate against my site (again, if it can use the functions from my site)
I have functions setup in PHP that will do all of the work, I also have all of the forms in html so if it can effectively open up my site in an extension for people to share an offer and use my site's functionality but just easier then that would be great.
The site is at www.finditforless.co.uk and if you sign up and then press "add offer" you can see the form required. It just needs to open a form like that, pre populate it and also have the same validation.
Budget negotiable for the right person and experience.
Specific technologies required: mysql, chrome, firefox
OS requirements: Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Other
Extra notes: You can see an example of the kind of thing here : http://www.merlincycles.com/cateye-micro-wireless-computer-57512.html
If you click on the hukd button it will open up a form, I am more than happy for it to be the same as this but just part of the actual browser rather than needing to embed it on pages.
