Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
we want an autocad LISP files developed to make the following function in a DWG file :
we have a DWG file that includes lines, polylines, 3D polylines , we want the script to scan the file for these objects and for each object to insert a block for each vertex, the Z values of the block should match the Z value of the vertex , the block has attributes, the block's attribute Z value should be filled by the correct Z value of the vertex and there's another attribute of the block called "Name" it must be filled with a number , the script prompts the users to enter the first block number (numbering for blocks start from X (user input) and increments by 1 for each new block inserted into the drawing, you can assume I only use this function once in a drawing so you don't have to check for existing blocks names).
attached the M1502.dwg block which should be inserted in each vertex.
EDIT : Uploaded a sample DWG file, in the file on the left lines before running script, on the right the output of the script
