Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I'm trying to use Labview STDF IO library. I'm using labview 2017 64bit
https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW-Development-Best/STDF-Standard-Test-Data-Format-IO-Library/ta-p/3509713
I've attached a gernic stdf file. I don't want to open and edit this file. I want to create a file just like it. I don't think I need to upload my test program. Just assume each test will output a string (name), a double (value), and a boolean (pass/fail). Maybe 3 doubles if I want to include limits.
The STDF IO library has a example program called stdfex_Create Initial Sequence.vi that works fine. I'm just not familiar enough with Object oriented programming to create and write GDR records (and PTR/MIR etc) into the stdf object. I've been doing the online labs but the going is slow. An example program that opens/creates a stdf file and creates/writes a GDR record would be great.
If you read the link it describes how a TestManager controls the process. I assume this is a initialization vi that I can drop into a TestStand sequence or (hopefully) a Labview project.
