Purpose:
To deploy an integrated collaboration suite that supports the following layers of project teams:
1. PMO, who deploys and manages a portfolio of projects
2. PM, who manages a specific project
3. Core Team, which executes project tasks
Tools:
Overview: leverages an integrated Microsoft suite including MS Project, MS Teams, and MS SharePoint to deploy and manage multiple projects that roll-up into a single program. More specifically, the tools will include:
1. MS Project Premium
2. Microsoft Teams (including Skype for Business)
3. Microsoft SharePoint Document Libraries (preferable over standard OneDrive in Teams)
4. SharePoint Sites
a. Hub Site
b. Team Site
c. Communication Site
Scope:
The scope of work is design, development and implementation of integrated collaboration suite. in Office 365. Our approach to design, develop and implement integrated collaboration suite would be by configuring and implementing the Out of the Box(OOTB) features of Project online and SharePoint to implement a functional, manageable, and scalable Integrated collaboration platform. In cases where OOTB features do not meet the specific requirements we would have to take the route of custom development. The solution will optimize the application keeping the architecture scalable, modular with a user-friendly interface. The application will be easy to maintain and easily integrate with other systems in future.
