Description
Cue Music has a product which teaches children times tables through music
Kind of development: New program from scratch - to be linked to from Cuemusiclearning.com
Description of every module:
A web app needs to be written that can be linked to from our site www.cuemusiclearning.com allowing individuals to answer a times tables quiz, then automatically bring them back on completion.
Our website is hosted by Namesco and has no scripting ability.
So we need to link somewhere else to run the quiz then come back to Cuemusiclearning.com afterwards.
There is an example quiz on the site now.
It needs to cover:-
The user chooses a standard option ....
Year 2 - 1, 2, 5 and 10 times tables (1 to 12)
Year 3 - 3, 4 and 8 times tables
Year 4 - 6, 7, 9, 11, 12 times tables
Or the user can select a custom list as any combinations of tables from 1 to 12
All questions from the required tables are asked.
The format is:-
1-12 x Table number eg for the 3s it would
1x3,
2x3,
3x3,
4x3 etc
We need to randomise the questions, asked them one at a time, keep a record of what was asked, the answer and how long taken to answer for each question.
It also needs to keep the user informed as to how many questions are left to answer eg Question 3 of 36
There is no time limit for the quiz
The user types in the answer - there are no multi-choice options to choose from. So just give them the ability to type in their answer.
Once complete it needs to display the detailed results to the user ie show them the question they answered, their answer, whether it is right or wrong and how long they took to answer.
It also needs to tell them the total they got right (out of the total answered) and the total time.
The user needs to have an option to save the results to their computer. The program should save all results in a comma separated file that I can use later in Excel ie a CSV file.
We should also capture the user's name and date of the test.
I will need the source code and full usage but am happy to have the code non-exclusively ie so you can sell it to someone else too.
Description of requirements/functionality: See above
Specific technologies required: Needs to work on all browsers

Hello, David
Thank You so much for this job invitation. As far I know, this is not the first time You post this proposul. I have seen this job before , here.
Well, I do agree with Liam, this task is impossible to perform it only with help of html.
So, in order to help You, we need to be sure, that we can use php (ask hoster).
I will be happy to explain You all step by step in the simpliest words.
Let me know, if You need a consultation.David S.15 Nov 2016Hi Sergey, yes I amended the job. I will check with the hoster
Kind regards

Hello David,
The calculation, logic and timing can all be done using pure javascript and jquery but the email function needs a server side language like php. Is this something you have?David S.07 Nov 2016No, I don't think so
Edima U.07 Nov 2016I see. No problem then. Should the quiz be done on the main page or on a separate web page?
-
Can we have a quick discussion?
David S.07 Nov 2016Yes, what do you need to know?
-
David, shall we discuss ?
David S.07 Nov 2016Of course, what do you want to know?
Dax Technolabs07 Nov 2016Do you need responsive also ?
On which hosting your website is ? -
I will be able to this html code, I will give you the full ownership of the code.
Ready to start?
I am having some query.David S.07 Nov 2016Please ask away .....
Arupam P.07 Nov 2016The work need some programming work of php.
I can do your work using custom php form scratch. -
Hi
This isn't possible with just HTML. I can do it but it would be with PHP and a database backend. Are these available where the website is hosted?David S.07 Nov 2016Thanks Liam, probably too complicated. The website is hosted through Namesco. It is a free website that came with the domain name. I have created the page using their free editor and it allows for Embed code. I have tested this and it works OK for basic HTML with some Javascript. But that's the limit of my knowledge
Liam O.07 Nov 2016There is probably some jQuery genius that can do this purely client side (in browser) with Javascript but HTML is presentation only. You can't create logic and functionality with purely html. Have you thought about moving away from a site builder into a self hosted site so you can do as you please? It's going to be a bigger cost up front but will give you the freedom you need.
