Description
Experience Level: Expert
We recently purchased some additional Cisco kit on Ebay on the advice of
a techy colleageue who has since let us down.
We need to connect a nearby remote site via a wireless bridge to our office
network. Both sites currently have a BT ADSL connection using the BT
Business Hub provided as the router.
We have 2 Cisco 1231 Wireless Access Points running IOS 12.8(3) and
Antennas for the Bridge, along with 2 Cisco 1801 Routers to replace the
BT Business Hubs.
The wireless bridge should also allow failover in case of loss of internet at
one site - we believe this can be done with EIGRP?
We also require a VPN for a remote worker and occasional use by the MD
from outside, and to consider the use of VLANs to improve our network
performance using our Catalyst 3550 switches.
Full details will be available to bidders that can travel to London SW9, and
provide references, hourly rates and an estimation of the time needed to
configure both the bridge and routers.
