Computer clean up; maintenance and research into an effective contact management software

This project can be considered in 2 parts
Firstly I need my computer to be cleaned up; over the last couple of years I have installed a number of programs and not been as diligent in saving information and data to external drives or deleting what I don't need
The SONY VAIO that I have is slower than it should be so I need somebody to come in; tidy it up and improve it's speed.

I also need to think seriously about investing in some contact management software. I run my own headhunting business from home. I generate a lot of information on companies; market data; candidates and clients
Most of this is written in notebooks, as a manual system it works reasonably well
However; I need an automated system now that is easy to update; easy to use and scalable
I would like some advice based on your research and knowledge of databases; information / contact management software. I would expect the person hired for this project to present his findings like a buyers guide; detaling each package reviewed and indicating strengths and weaknesses

The sofware I need should be ideal for a recruitment type business; I have been advised to look at File Finder and ACT - I hope you could advise of a few more and recommend the best from your research

In terms of the first task of this project. I want somebody to be local to where I live as I would like the person to conduct the clean up from my home base; this is my main condition
