Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I developed a game a long time ago and even coded a simple version of it in self-taught Borland C (for DOS), but it was ahead of its time.
My programming skills have gone rusty and I am too old to learn new tricks. I have learned some Java, and in theory I could code the back-end. But I am useless at front-ends (even though i is supposed to be just an 8 x 8 grid). And in any case, if I am seeking help,I may as well look for some one who is considerably more skilled than I in front and back end programming.
So I am now looking for some one to recreate it as an Android app. It is a two-person game. I am not looking (at this stage) to create a one-person version with a decision-making engine. I want a two-person version that friends can play on a single device (smart phone), pad computing device, etc.
It is a mathematical game, a sort of numerical chess paid with numbers instead of pieces. (I know there have been other such games, but this is different.) It is likely to appeal to the far east market - hence my decision to start with the Android platform.
My strategy is to get the game out there first, then create a web platform where single players can find opponents and play online. But the first stage is a simple implementation of the game itself
Is this something that would interest you? If so, I could send you the basic details of the game and some more information.
