Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
The Arduino Sketch should be able to read an analog audio signal and detect basic parameters like frequency and volume from a regular audio jack connected to an Arduino UNO and to translate them to MIDI messages that are then transmitted through a MIDI socket.
Most of the code necessary to put this sketch together can be found in 2 Instructables that are included in the attached documentation
In brief what the sketch has to do:
1- INPUT= analog audio (detect frequency and volume) - from audio jack
2- OUTPUT= MIDI (note and velocity) -MIDI docket through serial pin
As a result, an instrument connected to the jack should work as a MIDI controller capable to connect to MIDI software like Ableton.
Thanks!
