Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
See the attached Report Scheduler requirements / 'screenshot'
1. Runs as a jsp (java JDK 1.6 compliant).
2. A front-end ‘menu’ runs in a Firefox browser
3. An existing report jsp allows 1 of 10 existing reports to be produced (these are currently requested manually and appear in a browser)
4. The menu allows an existing report type to be selected and an automated schedule applied to that report.
5. Up to 10 reports can be scheduled.
6. The end user can select start / stop / test and enter times when the schedule should run (daily, weekly, monthly etc at 7pm etc)
7. The scheduler displays the status of each report (started, stopped) and whether currently running. The display allows a scheduled report to be started, stopped, amended or deleted.
8. Once the schedule is set the scheduler will call the appropriate section of the existing jsp and ‘plug in’ the appropriate start and end datetimes (the existing report system needs a start and end datetime to produce reports).
10. The output of the report to be automatically exported to individual date and time stamped Excel files.
