General information for the business: Technical/Analytical knowledge
Description of every module: This position provides leadership on Technical/Analytical knowledge to guide and Lead a team of Java developers for a J2EE based large MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System) implementation.
As a Java Team Lead, experience in J2EE, EJB, JSP, XML, and PL/SQL is a must.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• As integral part of the Functional Team, should have the ability to analyze the functional business process and translate to technical requirement.
• Provides direction to the respective team members, in terms of screen design and in defining the business layer through EJB's.
• Follows existing programming standards and guidelines and leads/directs the team members to adhere the same.
• Maintains documentation, procedures and working instructions in accordance with Project guidelines.
• Provides leadership role to junior developers.
• Develops new functionality or code-base to decrease maintenance time and increase productivity.
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.
Description of requirements/functionality: Java Servlets, EJB programming; JSP, Oracle, PL/SQL; XSL/XSLT
Must be Familiar with Design Patterns and web services
Must be strong in Core Java/J2EE
Must be a Team player and should work closely with the Subject Matter Experts and with State Functional leads.
Must have experience with JBoss and IBM Websphere Application Servers.
Experience with Bea Weblogic server and in multiple IDE tools will be an added advantage.
Must have ability to lead JAD/CAD sessions with State representatives.
Must have Experience in Microsoft Project/Excel.
Must have excellent communication and writing skills.
