integrate web services within netbeans to create a chat application between two users
i have already created the main body which saves data onto a text file as a database..
i can login and register as a new user, within the GUI
for the last bit i am having trouble is integrating the web services to be able to create a chat application between two users
i will send a description and need within the next 2 days , or asap... i will send what i have done so far the web services is the last bit.. thank you.. description is below :
You have to develop a chat based on web services. The system will consist of two main services: that handling the user details and that managing the chat history.
The user service manages users’ data and provides access to the chat service through the following operations: - managing users’ data and, - login/logout users.
The chat service manages the chat performing the following operations: - adding comments to an existing chat thread - creating a new chat thread Data of users and the chat threads are stored in storage, for example in a database or in different files.
The chat user invokes the web services though a GUI. Starting the chat application the GUI displays the login page where the user can either login or register. If the user has not already a profile, she/he can do so on the registration page. If the user already has a profile, he she/he can login, upon successful login she/he will be redirected to the main chat page that displays the chat threads, each thread will display the number of entry, its last entry and its author. The user will be able to either join a thread or create a new one.
Install the web services and create at least two users, at least chat threads with at least two chat entries each.
