We need to create a "Value Tree" in PowerPoint. So, the user would choose "Add Value Tree" to a PPT slide from the Tools > Macros section of PPT. The Value Tree would start on the left side of the slide. It will have a "Calculation Box" with a drop down to choose the "Calculation Type"(+, -, *, /), a "Text Box" for user input, and a number box for the "Calculation Result".
The tree grows by click an arrow facing right. this adds a child "tree branch" to the right. This is a duplicate the original branch with the ability to add a "Sibling" branch below as well as a child branch. If you add a Sibling branch, the first box is the "Calculation Type" and calculates from the top to the bottom with the result displayed in the parent "Calculation Box" on the left.
The attached PowerPoint givea a visual with full description of all features and functions.
