I am writing an application to keep track of cryptocurrency transactions from various exchanges.
I need an importer for three exchanges (Coinbase, Coinbase Pro, and Binance) to import their native CSV's into the database. These transactions will fall under three models (Deposit, Withdrawal, and Trade) with a link to an Exchange model, and particular currency.
The csvs can be a little complex to navigate! For example, coinbase pro separates everything by currency, so you'll only get one side of a trade on one csv, and have to reconcile the final transaction once the currency csv is uploaded.
Importers should be robust with good error handling, clean code, and comments where applicable. Front end doesn't matter. Will provide a link to the current repo with an existing rails app with the front end, sidekiq, and importer template set up already.
