We are looking for someone to create a skill based prize website.
The basic concept for the idea would be as follows:-
1) Customers would visit the site and see various prizes listed upon the site.
Prizes would range from small items such as an Xbox to high value items such as cars.
2) Each prize would have a preset (Within the CMS) amount of entries required to be sold before the prize can be won.
I.e., 20 tickets or places to be sold before a winner is chosen at random.
3) Each ticket will have a set cost - I.e., £2 and this to be set within the CMS.
4) Each prize will also have a countdown timer to show when the closing date is.
The clock will countdown in days, hours and minutes.
5) The prize will be awarded when either - A) All tickets have been sold or B) When the countdown timer reaches zero.
6) If the countdown timer reaches zero and the desired amount of tickets have NOT been sold - Then a proportion of the prize value will be awarded to the winner.
The proportion will be based on the amount of tickets sold minus admin costs, etc.
7) Customers can create accounts, purchase credits through applicable payment processors.
8) As this is a SKILL based website, the customer would purchase credits and then answer a multiple choice question.
If the customer gets the question correct then he gains an entry into the prize.
If the customer gets the question wrong then they get NO entry into the prize and credits are still deducted from their account.
What we require from you:-
1) An expert in web design with a good graphical eye.
2) Backend systems to use would be your choice - As long as it achieves the end result and is robust.
3) The ability to integrate with multiple payment processors.
4) A CMS system to allow us a full overview of the website.
I.e., Customer accounts, purchase history, Prize history, Newsletters, etc.
5) The CMS will allow us to list prizes with pictures and descriptions, plus set the amount of credits required PLUS the ending time range.
6) We also need the ability to set questions in the CMS for the skill element of the multiple choice.
A similar site to compare the above requirements to is www.nothing2lose.co.uk.
Please take a look at this site to give you and idea of what we are after.
If you think you can perform this project then get in touch.
Obviously the details above are the concept of what we are after.
We would need to discuss our exact needs after your initial proposal.
