Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
I have recently started using Zoho CRM after trying many other solutions and finding them limited in one way or another. Now I'm bewildered with the possibilities!
I've set up a couple of basic automations/workflows (not really sure of the distinction) and email templates, but it would take me forever to get it fully set up for us.
We provide professional services, so basically sell written reports/advice. One question occurring to me is whether we should create these as 'products' and then build 'quotes' from these products, or continue just creating a 'deal' and adding the price and details manually.
I'm also very interested in making use of Zoho Projects. I've had a tinker with it but don't find it very intuitive at all. ideally when a deal is won, a project would be created and the details copied over into the relevant project template.
I am also considering using Zoho Survey to confirm client and/or site details upon winning work. This might be better done though Zoho sign?
I have Sales IQ working, but it doesn't seem to tie form submissions to records, and I don't find it very informative.
I definitely want to be sending out a quarterly email newsletter and maybe some other use of Campaigns as well.
We have been on Xero for accounts for a long time. I think it goes way beyond Zoho Books, but it would be very nice to automate invoicing within Zoho.
Probably there is a lot more it can do as well.
So I am looking for some guidance and costs for establishing our requirements and implementation.
I have also just come across Odoo, and that seems like a good solution.
Thanks

Hi Danny,
I am a Zoho partner and I am hope that you are using Zoho One which is an affordable way of using all the Zoho products. Also for 4 users or less the price will go up to approx £75 per user per month in the next couple of days, so get one licence now and you will stay on the old licence even if you add another user. You requirements seem to hover between two options:
Option 1. I want to learn as much as can myself and when I get stuck I will need some help.
Option 2. A fully specified implementation with deliverables and training .
Which one are you leaning towards?Danny F.19 Sep 2018I think 2. I can get too bogged down with it. Cheers
