I have built an MS Access database which needs a MySQL backend built and connected to the database. The db has 8 tables and 8 forms. The tables need to be replaced with MySQL tables and the forms connected to the new MySQL tables.

Here is a rough Schema of how the db table relationships look now – pretty simple. (See attached doc)

The db needs to have 2 functions;
1. To be able to load products along with their attributes and associated pictures. Unfortunately I have not worked out how to deal with the pictures yet so your advice will be required.
2. To be able to edit the products already contained in the database.

The MySQL database will be built on the ‘Hearts Internet’ website which will be hosting my website. No website work is required as part of this project, although a little understanding of how shopping carts work may help. Please do not try and recommend that I use an alternative to Access – been through it, know what I want!

The MySQL database needs building and although the Access Front End has been built by me it needs to be connected to the MySQL database. The Access db will need some VBA coding inserted to make that connection.

The Access db front end will reside on my own PC at home. The MySQL db will reside on 'Heart Internet', the website host.

I refer to the Access db as the Front End and in database terms that is correct. However, a more accurate description would ‘Control Panel’ or ‘Dashboard’.

I would prefer to communicate by email once the job has been awarded but anyone wishing to do business outside of ‘People Per Hour’ need not apply.
