Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I have a functioning Access database which I wrote myself for use with my patients (I am an osteopath). However, I would like to add a bit of automation which is beyond my abilities. My patients often ask me for receipts either for 1 or several treatment sessions or letters to write to their doctors.
For the insurance receipts I would like to be able to press a button which allows me to create a report (I assume?) into word or pdf which allows me to do this and then attaches the document to an email.
For the letters, I would like to combine them with proforma letters (as a mailmerge?) again at the press of a button (eg letter informing GP of their treatment, letter requesting further testing etc).
1. Is this possible?
2. Approx how long do you think it would take?
3. Could it be set up in such a way that I will be able to create new letters / reports by myself.
Cheers
Ben
ps I can send you an anon. database directly but it is too large to attach here. I have attached examples of the proforma letters.
