Looking for an expert to develop a database for our specific needs. We have a series of rules if you will, that we would like the database to be setup for.
Here are the basic requirements: Will discuss in detail some other minor needs.
1) The database will contain all of our various county searches, along with the automated telephone / relative search.
2) Each county will be segregated by a "tab" for easy viewing
3) Each county / city will have various automated searches
4) A scheduler will be built in for each search that will systematically run on defined timeframes / frequencies. This scheduler should allow us to edit and define frequencies at an annual, monthly, bi-monthly, weekly levels.
5) After all searches are ran, the results will be stored in one section labeled "Leads" in a format that allows for the automated telephone / relative search to be executed. Each output should include a reference to the search performed (i.e., Denton County Estate). Database should execute the telephone / relative search and update the results accordingly.
6) As we make phone calls we want to be able to mark each item by checking a box next to their name that indicates "Delete", "Follow up and allow us to enter a date", "Further Research" or "Interested Owner".
7) Once we select one of the above options in #6, the database will perform defined actions: If "delete", then delete the item, "If Followup, hide item until followup date determined", if "Further Research", move those items to a "Further Research Tab" and if Interested Owner, move those items to an Interested Owner Tab.
It is important to understand that I will NOT accept any Microsoft product, as I am done with the constant errors and crashes. Unfortunately most of my data is supplied through Excel, so there is not much I can do about that, however I will not risk storing it on Microsoft's garbage. I am open to suggestions on other databases.
