Hi
We need to capture some management information for our financial advice practice. Nothing to glamorous and can be in Excel.
Data we are looking to capture at this stage:
· Client Owner
· Adviser
· Client name/s
· Client Type (transactional, recurring)
· In-house or outsourced 9if outsourced, then Provider? (XYZ Pension Co, ABC Insurance etc))
· Source of business (internet, referral, professional introduction, existing client, etc)
· Type of business (annuity, pension, mortgage, life insurance, etc)
· Provider (Aviva, Friends Provident etc)
· Income:
o Expected Value (initial) £
o Expected Value (monthly) £
o Trail Value (monthly) £
o Type (commission, fee, both) £
o Indemnity Period (Nil, 12, 24, or 48 months)
o Expected completion month and year
· Momentum Dates & Likelihood of Completion
o Initial contact, client interest 0%
o Fact Find Completed 10%
o Research and Analysis Completed 20%
o Client Agreement to Proceed 50%
o Uploaded To Paradigm 60%
o Application sent to Provider 75%
o Application Completed/On Risk 90%
o Payment Received 100%
· Adviser Notes section
Wish List!
· separate spreadsheets for each adviser (held and accessed centrally) which updates a password protected spreadsheet accessible by me (centrally)
· Visible, uneditable Audit trail of amendments to each adviser’s spreadsheet
· Use as many drop down menus, or equivalent, as possible to prevent user input errors
· Reports - these should be in graph form
o Number and value of clients at each Momentum date against targets
o Expected income against targeted income for Monthly/Quarterly targets
o Indemnity Liability at current (or set) date – this is calculated by dividing the income by the number of indemnity months. e.g. the liability of £1000 income on 48 month indemnity would be £1000 in month 1, £500 at month 24, and down to £0 in month 49.
· Actual Income Report: Once payment is received it is removed from Pipeline figures and goes into actual income figures.
· all figures go against advisers quarterly targets (also shown monthly)
· Average value per entry and per client (a client may be on more than one entry) – for each adviser and total
