The C++ code below should sum the elements within the items array and store the value within the total variable. There are however errors within the code.
double items[3] = { 5.4, 6.3, 8.2, 2.7 };
int total = 0;
for (n = 0; n < 3; n++);
total += items[n];
Within your answer book identify the errors along with the corrections.
1. Define a variable named mark of type int and initialise its value to 50
2. Define a pointer named pmark that is assigned the address of the mark variable
3. Display within the console the value pointed to by the pointer pmark
4. Define a reference named rmark that references the mark variable
5. Output the reference value to the console
6. Include all necessary libraries and namespaces
Implement the two classes described in the diagram below in C++. The constructors of both classes accept a parameter that is assigned to the protected id data member of Vehicle.
Implement the changes necessary to ensure that ALL the dynamic memory allocated to the Assessment object is freed before the return 0 instruction is executed within Main.
class Mark{ };
class Assessment{
private:
Mark **marks;
public:
Assessment(){
marks = new Mark*[10];
for (int n=0; n < 10;n++)
marks[n] = new Mark;
}
};
int main(){
Assessment *assesment = new Assessment();
return 0;
}
Total number of marks = 10%
Using the three classes Mammal, Human and Dolphin illustrate how polymorphic behaviour could be applied to the Mammal’s Move member function. Implement your solution in C++ and comment. Move simply displays a message indicating the class it is applied to.
The network code developed in the practical sessions, placed all the code within the main function. You should redesign the code placing it within stand alone functions (NOT classes), one function for each of the stages within the connection process e.g. a function to Load the Dll, create the socket etc.
Using these functions develop a chat application that when run, requests the client enter a message which is then echoed on the server interface. A message can then be typed into the server interface and this is then echoed on the client interface. This process should repeat indefinitely until the client types QUIT, at which point both the client and server programs should terminate.
Pre-processor directives should be embedded within your project to enable / disable compilation of client and server code. This should allow you to develop a single project that contains both the Client and Server code.
Your submission should include two projects, one configured to be a server and another client.
