I have a box, it has 8 drawers, each drawer has:
• One LED light, this LED will glow each time when the patient has to take the medicine in this specific drawer.
• One microswitch, it’s an endstop switch, this switch will go high and trigger a signal when the patient opens the corresponding drawer, the drawer will mechanically activate this switch exactly as a microwave door.
Arduino content
In Arduino code, there will be 8 variables (drowers), and each drower contain a specific medicine, this configuration must be editable via arduíno local or via internet. Via Internet is enough.
The drower content is as follows:
Drower 1 contains ----------metformina 850mg
Drower 2 contains ----------glibenclamida 5mg
Drower 3 contains ---------AAS 100MG
Drower 4 contains ---------enalapril 10mg
Drower 5 contains ---------losartana 50mg
Drower 6 contains ---------fluoxetina 20mg
Drower 7 contains ---------sinvastatina 20mg
Drower 8 contains ---------paracetamol 500mg
Indications
Metformina 850mg (drower 1) must be taken each 12h hours, this means that Arduino will play an alarm(piezzo buz), and will glow only the LED of the drower number 1. And if there is another medicine that must be talking at the same time, Arduino will glow that LED too.
The piezo and the LED will remain active(ringing a D glowing respectively) until the patient opens that drower or drowers, once he opens the drower this will -------activate switch, it means the microswitch will go high, and Arduino will receive the signal and it will do the following:
1-it will stop the alarm of the piezzo and turn of the LED.
2-ut will send a signal to iot site and let him know that this medication has been taking correctly
3-if the patient didn’t open the drower (take his medicine) at the time he should, Arduino will wait for only 45 minutes, if he doesn’t open the drower, Arduino will register and send messages to the iot site telling it that this medication was supposed to be taken at 8:00am but it wasn’t.
4-if the patient opens the drower (take his medicine ) after these 45 minutes (late) Arduino will send a message to the iot site telling it it was taking late, and at what time, and after how many minutes.(for example, if he took the medication (opens the drower) at 9:00am, Arduino will say patients is 1 hour late. This information will be ponderable and will drow a chart showing how many time he misses the medication hour.
Now in the iot site
I want to see a forms so I can input the medication and determine Wich medication is inside of Wich drower.
For example:
In Form number one one I’ll put Metformina 850mg, beside this form there is another one where I’ll input the frequency, for example each 12 hours.(so we need a button to creat a form, in Wich we input the medication and the frequency in Wich will be taking. When finished, just click on New medication and so on.
The iot site will show me daily, weekly, monthly and yearly report, informing or showing a chart and the amount of adherence of the patient to the medical indications (taking the pills correctly)
Each time the patient Misses a pill,(more than 45 minilate) the iot will send an email and and message to a predetermined number saying “the patient didn’t take the 8:00am pill. So the familiar member will call him .
More information
• The piezo alarm will snooze and come back each 5 minutes for 1 hours, after that it will be turned off.
• I am thinking in make Arduino play a pre recorded mp3 track (saying a message for the patient like “ thanks for taking the pill on time)
• I am thinking of adding a playable mp3 or any other audio format message at the same time with the piezzo and LED .(I’ll use the Google woman to record the messages I want)
• I am open to any ideas and we can modify and enhance the project.
• I have Arduino all versions, uno, mega ...etc, and esp8266, piezzo, LEDs, 8 drowers wooden box, resistors, switches and other components.
• I didn't choose the iot service, prefere a Free one.
• you can chose Wich components and schematic to use as I don't have any pre build project. We will start from zero.
• I want to pay one payment for all the project, not for hours.
Please if you are not good in c programming language don't accept the project.
