Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: Remote Controlled Amphibious car project
Kind of development: Customization of existing program
Description of every module: I would need to program remote controlled Amphibious Car to operate automatically in the loop on the show.
Currently the vehicle is controlled via 3 channels transmitter/receiver:
• 1st channel drives forward/backwards (speed controller signal),
• 2nd channel controls the steering (positional servo signal),
• 3rd channel changes between 2 modes (servo full clockwise/anticlockwise signal).
Description of requirements/functionality: I need the code and setup instruction for Arduino to control the vehicle automatically in the loop via wire, or wireless. The vehicle has 1xelectric motor with the speed controller, 1xsteering servo and 1x180deg servo. I need either simulate the transmitter signal to control the vehicle wirelessly, or connect the vehicle via cable and control all 3 channels directly. I don't want the servos controlling the current transmitter.
1. I would like the channel 1 to run for about 15 seconds in various speeds, while channel 2 steers the front wheels 3 times from left to right
2. All stops and channel 3 to change from land drive into water drive
3. Than repeat number 1 in water drive mode (channel 1 to run for about 15 seconds in various speeds, while channel 2 steers the front wheels 4 times from left to right)
4. Complete the loop, start with number 1
I don’t know much about the control electronics, I only have Arduino board at home, so please suggest if you know any other way to get it all done the most straight forward way.
