Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We need a developer competent in PHP or Ruby to give us a technical evaluation of a new startup service. The service is for sharing photos on web and mobile, and we want to make sure this is developed as efficiently as possible, using existing frameworks and solutions as far as possible. Web, mobile and social networks will be featured heavily so you'll need to have Facebook API and PhoneGap (or comparable) experience, for example. Understanding of the server side like AWS and CDN tech (i.e. where and how to host and serve a media-heavy service) is a big bonus.
You will be provided with a 1-2 page description of the product, features and user stories. Based on this, you should create a plan of how this should be done and your recommendations on technologies to use, and why.
This project is for the technical evaluation only, but if you are interested in developing the service too, do mention this.
In the bid, please describe in a couple of paragraphs your experience with the technologies mentioned above for the purpose of creating a social photo sharing service built for both web and mobile.
