Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: Person Project
Kind of development: Customization of existing program
Num. of modules: 1
Description of requirements/functionality: I'm trying to build a simple app for OSX. I'm a web developer, but am new to XCode and Swift 3, so I need some help with it.
So far the app calls an API and creates a array of Currency classes from the returned result. I want this array to populate an NSTableview with NSTablecellview, using Cocoa binding.
The currency class looks like this:
class Currency: NSObject {
@objc dynamic var coinName: String = "BitCoin"
@objc dynamic var coinCode: String = "BTC"
@objc dynamic var iconPath: String = "/some/path"
}
So each TableCellView should display the icon, the coinName and the coinCode for each returned result.
Here's the project so far: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ekp9l240vdh4g8q/AADDxRu6L8Hyvhc7o4loN6IMa?dl=1
You can see the results array printed out in the console.
All I need right now is for the NSTableView to get populated when the API returns the results. I'm sure as I continue the project I'll run into more sticking points, so there will probably be more work later on!
Please make sure you're using the most up-to-date Xcode and swift versions
OS requirements: Mac OS

Hi,
I've connected the cell to the NSTableView for now. You can run the project and can check that values of icon, the coinName and the coinCode values are now showing after HTTP request.
Please let me know your feedback on testing.
Thanks and regards,
Amit -
