We are Fine Art Agents. We sell items on behalf of our clients %u2013 mostly at auction.

In order to track the sales and provide our clients with information on their sales we provide a Sales Report on which we list all their items, which may be several hundred. There may be many pages and the size of each row may vary depending on the length of each description. This is done on an excel spread sheet -see attached example. Each row has a Client ref No. ,description and other details of where and when the item is to be sold, the sale result and the fees and other costs of the sale.

Each sheet has a subtotal at the bottom of the page for each column that gives the totals of the sale results , fees etc. for that page, together with the brought forward totals from the previous pages.

Sometimes we have to delete a row or add an extra row in the middle of the document. The result is that the subtotals are no longer at the bottom of the page and much of the document may have to be adjusted manually.
We would like to have a programme that adjusts the excel document automatically when any changes in the number or sizes of the rows are introduced so that subtotals remain at the base of each page with the correct formatting.
