I have a current virtual reality community similar to The Sims and Second Life online games. However, it was created in the now defunct VRML code. I need to convert the community or rebuild it using more current technology. The programming skills needed would be 3D development and games programming skills. Unless you also have avatar development skills, I may need to get a second person for avatar creation and animation. It would probably be best to start with one world first. If it works out then we can get a quote on finishing the rest of the community.

Hi again. I tried to get some information from my past server admin. Since I am not very technical he says it would be harder for him to explain to me than for you to visit bitmanagment.com to view. But, I don't expect you to do that until you have been paid. So, let me tell you what I know. I know bitmanagement supports VRML and X3D format. That is why we choose to use it. Bitmanagment also promised we would be able to create flash games and use them inside the VRML worlds sort of like a texture on a vrml object. They lied. What I am trying to do is save the community by getting some new work done that will accomplish the following things: 1. We need a system that will allow each user to create their own avatar at least one based on a default avatar and allowing the user to choose certain settings like hair, clothes, face and so on. 2. We need some system that will allow us to add other games or flash games in world so people can use them for entertainment. 3. We need a system that will allow users to use objects within the world such as sit on chair, lay on bed, pick up glass and so on. If we can get this done it would be a fantastic start. I thought the best thing would be to start with one world such as a house or something and allow both the new technical team and I to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit before undertaking the entire community. I hope this helps explain the job more.
