Looking to get a program built that I can run from a UNIX Command-Line that takes in 2 input xml files, compares values within those files and outputs an XML file. The attachment xml files are examples of the inputs (with logic comments) and the output xml file. I prefer it written in Java, but Perl or other is fine too. I am looking to get a portion of the logic delivered and iterate vs. big bang all done at once. For instance, do version comparisons for latest, then target, then minimum, and finally add any other additional meta data that is not logic comparison in nature, but just passed through the input to the output XML file.
