Estimated project duration: 3 - 4 weeks
Customer Portal Quotation tool
The company manufacture large commercial doors for industrial units.
They require a customer portal, where the customer can log in and look at any orders in the system or generate a new order.
They do not have any in house CRM or ERP systems, relying on a Foxpro BOM system and spreadsheets
This portal will be the centre of their order and order tracking system.
The portal needs to be able to build out a door quote, but the build up has several rules we must adhere to. Things like a panel may be 500mm high and a 2.4m door would need to be made up of 4 regular panels and one custom panel at 400mm high.
There is also other rules based on height, openers and a hardware - this is all specific to the door build up.
The video (ask for link) is a portal from one of their competitors, it shows you exactly what they want, you can see all the orders on the main screen, then you can go into an order and look at all the parts of the build.
One thing we need to do is build up a mock up of the door on the top right hand side (a simple graphic). This must included things like the panels windows and colour - they have a RAL chart.
The main concern is the rules for the order and the visual build of the door - we must also be able to produce a pdf drawing at the end for the quote that can be downloaded or printed off. This does not need to be to scale but technically must look right, - so if we have 7 panels it must show this. They are happy for us to add dimensions and text to a general pdf drawing.
All this exists today and is managed via multiple spreadsheets.
PHP Application must use SSL
Hosted on my web server - 6 CPU Cores, CentOS, 8GB RAM, 170GB SSD, cPanel,
Portal Outline Specification
Look and feel - see attached screens shots and video (ask for link).
Form to the left (80/20 split)
Order being built to the right
Image of Door - top right
Calculate price buttoning middle or price builder as the order is built
Image is clickable to show a larger image
As the door is being built the image reflects this in number of panels and the colour.
Door Quotation
The form must include the basics, Height, Width and Drop
Each door must adhere to a set of rules. EG if a width of 2400 is selected, on the look up table this would be 2500
We need the ability to create rules based on what dimensions are input. This is standard spreadsheet with values and conditions.
Doors can have extras such as windows, inner doors, handles etc - all of these can be added to the order and built as you through it.
Quotation print out
The final quotation must have all the specifications and print out to a CAD drawing template but fill in the correct dimensions - the drawing is not to scale - just for representation
Administrator Account
Master Admin can set up new users and new companies and delete
A user must always be attached to a company
All user transactions are logged - including log in time and transactions
Each Company needs an admin user who can create new used accounts for that company
Master Admin has the ability to act on behalf of a company/user and place orders
Main admin log in screen
Must have the ability to see all orders in process and what status they are at.
Link to WooCommerce Shop
All portal users must have an account on the WooCommerce portal for the spares shop - need to copy all created users and passwords across or create a WooCommerce user. (the WooCommerce shop will be built on the same server and hosting platform)
NOTE*** - must be a UK developer as client meeting is a must - any other developer will not be considered.

Hi,
are you considering other more robust platforms rather than PHP?
