Experience Level: Expert
We have many applications written in Delphi that we are still using.
We would like to migrate them to a newer version of Delphi (XE7)

Database = Postgresql
We connect to the database via ODBC and BDE. I would like to move away from BDE and connect directly to the Postgresql database using UniDAC.

Mandatory requirements:

1) Convert from Delphi 6 to XE7

2) UniDAC - professional version without source code should be used (currently BDE, this should not be used, needs to be removed)

3) Database: Postgresql 3.8, You are responsible for getting it to work with postgresql 3.8 that you setup for yourself. I don't have a development environment.
4) Performance issues is your responsibility

5) Testing is your responsibility
6) make the screens look a little more modern (if possible)
7) there are some specially written components that I use, either convert them to Delphi XE7 or use existing componets that to basically the same thing
8) If a component is very complex then let me know and I will tell you if we still need it or not

9) Reports (link to Winword/Excel) and Graphs (PGraph...) need to continue to work
