Description
Experience Level: Entry
We need a PHP developer to help add features to our SAAS application. Our existing application is an Applicant Tracking System software with a unique twist; we have integrated two levels of psychometric testing into the application which makes selecting the best applicants much easier than screening and reading CVs. However, there is also a customisable pre-qualification question section which is intended to replace CV screening. This provides customisable questions to be created by the user/employer: yes/no, radio buttons, dropdown box, tick-box and freetext. The employer the provides answers to these questions which applicants select during their job application. For example:
How many years experience of PHP development do you have?
None
Less than a year
1 - 2 years
2 - 3 years C
3 - 4 years C
Over 4 years C
In the example above, the last three answers are marked with a C which, for the purposes of illustration, means that they are "critical", i.e. people who DO NOT select any of the "C" answers will be marked for rejection.
Currently, we are only able to make these questions "critical" (or essential), or desirable. Critical questions will mark an applicant for rejection if answered the "wrong" way, whereas desirable questions simply collect answers for later review by the employer. We want to add feature where the employer can add a score to each answer of the pre-qualification questions, which can later be aggregated and provide a way of ranking applicants based on their answers to the pre-qualification questions.
We are looking for PHP developers with (preferably) 5+ years experience of the following:
- Object orientated
- MVC Framework i.e. Symfony
- Drupal 8
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript, Twig would also be beneficial
Postgres database, including functions & views, MySQL would also be beneficial
