Description
Experience Level: Expert
We would like to develop a Flash module that takes facilitates the
voice+video conversation between the 2 parties.
We are looking for a freelancer with very solid Flex and Red5 experience
The HTML part of the site is currently in extensive redevelopment and making a lot of progress which is when we started to re-evaluate the Flash module that’s currently in use as developed a few months back. It turns out the existing Flash module is quite poorly developed and we’re looking for a company or individual to provide us with a new version.
We will provide designs and user flows before implementation.
About the flash module:
The current flash module is written in Flex and uses a Red5 backend. The goal of the flash element is to facilitate the conversation between the buyer and the expert while keeping track of the minutes spend in a secure way so that at the end of the session the buyer can be charged the amount that it owes the expert.
When a user starts up the app it shows them wether or not the other user has logged on yet and if not shows them a waiting screen. When the other user arrives the app automatically connects them up ad shows them to each other. The session isn’t started yet but starts when the expert hits a “start button”. This allows for the 2 parties to first confirm that the audio/video is working before continuing.
When the expert hits start the buyer starts to be charged. Both buyer and seller see how many minutes have been made and what the cost have been. At the end the buyer and seller end the conversation by hitting stop or closing the flash app. On stopping the user should be directed to a new HTML page where they can give feedback on the transaction.
