Hi, I'am a blind broadcaster. I contact you because I'm searching for a developer to develop a custom solution for recording voice tracks for shows. The application must run on windows, and needs to be fully accessible by using only standard windows components and controls.
I need a software that:
1) Plays tracks simultaneously while recording an input from the soundcard;
2) stores the position where the record button was pressed, based on the song that is playing (eg: If I press R at 2:05 of my song, the recorder remembers this position)
3) slows down the volume of the song according to a setting that must be specified (egg. -6db);
4) start recording;
5) when I stop the recording, puts up the volume of the song to it's original value and stores the position in minutes and seconds for the end, so that the final recording is one or more files that contains both music and recorded voice tracks. I need to be able first to define a playlist with songs and background music inside, then to record my voice tracks on this while listening to tracks. Tracks may be overlapped of a value specified to provide a natural crossfade. I imagine this: the software stops the play at every song end, and when I press the space bar it will start the following song. If the song that is exiting it's still in play, the program overlaps the song that is in play with the next by a specified number of seconds, that remains the same for all songs.
At the end of the work the software must be capable to split the recording in blocks that maibe 15 or 30 minutes long, this needs to be set my the user, but it doesn't have to interrupt songs.
For this to work properly the software needs to know what is a background music and what is a song. It must split files only if there are two songs, not if I talk over them. Blocks must finish ever with a song, not with a recording. You can do this by creating a message that appears when I'am terminating the time for the block, so I can save it.
Can you do this? and, at what price?
Thanks!
