Description
I run a brand called The Content Club (www.the-content-club.co.uk). As part of our strategy for 2025, I will be creating a weekly video on YouTube to build my personal brand. I have been doing this inconsistently for the last 6 months (https://www.youtube.com/@jackgaisford/videos), but have found that I'm limited on time, and require support.
I create content around videography, content creation, and social media marketing. A lot of my videos are very simply structured. IE: Intro, multiple points, solution, outro. Personally, I'd like an editor that specialises in talking-head videos, similar to James Smith (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2kXBQTDPKg) or Simon Squibb (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VlvbpXwLJs). I like that their content is:
1) Easy to watch
2) Not high-energy
3) Slower than most YouTube videos (more valuable, too)
4) Sleek graphics/text/audio work
I'm looking for an editor that would welcome the opportunity to create one weekly YouTube video, between 5-10 minutes long. Similar this previous video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhQ1dA816c0&t=10s). For a budget of £400/month - with potential to increase as we get into a rhythm and system of high-quality work.
If you feel that you'd be good for this role, please send me three videos that you have edited by yourself, as well as why you feel you'd be a good fit for this opportunity, and I'd be excited to see what you can do!

Hey
Could you please address some of my concerns regarding the project:
- Who are your ideal viewers, and what tone or style resonates most with them?
- How will you measure the success of these videos—views, engagement, or audience feedback?
- Are there specific elements from James Smith or Simon Squibb’s videos that you want to incorporate (e.g., pacing, typography, music)?
- Should I use custom graphics and animations, or are you looking for a minimalistic approach with subtle enhancements?
- Will you supply B-roll footage and additional assets, or should I source them?
- What is your preferred delivery time for each video after receiving the raw footage?
- Would you be open to increasing the budget for longer or more complex videos as we build a working rhythm? -

could you share your preferred turnaround time for each video?

Hi, please clarify budget translates to £100 per 5-10 min video, right?
