Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
I am running a non for profit event for parent sin the UK/London. A day of 25 short talks, by parents for parents across education, technology, creativity and skills.

I'm doing it virtually on my own - yes I'm a psycho!

I've got an amazing line up of speakers, The Guardian are writing about it next weekend.

But I need to sell/give away more tickets. I want to place full. I have 450 seats to fill and have sold about 50.

I'm sure it will come but I need to push social harder.

I've been active on Facebook and Twitter but only just set up Google+

I want someone who will help me create social media connection and profile.

You MUST:

- Have a good understanding of the mechanics of SoMe - Twitter, Facebook, G+ and blogs and be able to demonstrate a couple of similar projects, however small.
- Have an understanding of/be passionate about what we're doing
- Must have a very strong, personable written style (ENGLISH MUST BE YOUR FIRST LANGUAGE)

You might be just starting out. A keen student? Thsi could be a great portfolio project and I WILL give you good references. I am fairly well known in marketing circles. about.me/nickcorston

I can give you some content to use, written, photos, etc.

My budget is VERY tight. I really can't afford more than $150 initially and that will have to be against some sort of KPI's:

- posts/tweets
- retweets, likes, etc
- ticket sales
- site visits

If it does work and the event sells out I WILL be able to pay you a bit more tho at the moment I am discounting heavily to fill it so at most will pay another $250 (via PPH). You (they) have to trust me on that.

To pitch please:

- send me a sentence on what you think of the event/relevance to you
- 3-6 bullets outlining your approach/thinking
- 3 bullets of relevant experience

I'm REALLY REALLY busy, please don't waste my time. I won't waste yours.

The event website is here: www.kidcrafters.org.uk
