Social media marketing content creation

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Freelance Content Creator to join our team. This is not a full-time position; the successful candidate will be an independent contractor who will work directly with Urban Barn 9-12 days per month (with flexibility depending on need).

The successful candidate will be briefed on our content calendar and be responsible for capturing, creating, and delivering visually appealing and engaging content for various social media platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of current social media trends, experience capturing product content, excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for home décor.

Job Functions:

1. Review content calendar and creative briefs with the marketing team

2. Capture content in store, in studio, or at location shoots

3. Produce creative, high-quality, and engaging visual content for web and social media platforms, including but not limited to images, videos, GIFs, and infographics

4. Collaborate with the marketing team and make edits to ensure content is on brand

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in social media content creation

2. Highly skilled at videography

3. Proficiency in using popular social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube

4. Up to date on latest social media trends and trending audios

5. Highly creative self starter

6. Proficiency in using graphic design and video editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms

7. Creative thinking and a demonstrated ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts

8. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

9. A passion for home décor and beautiful homes
