**THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART**
You will need to be able to dedicate 4 hours per day to this role, but have the capacity to take on more hours in the future if required. Please only apply if you can dedicate 4 hours per day, Monday-Friday, every month to our business.
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Working with both B2B and B2C clients
- Having a deep understanding of each brand we work with and understand their guidelines, tone, branding, restrictions, goals, etc
- Writing social media posts
- Working with our designer to produce visual content
- Maintaining and creating content calendars
- Developing sharable and engaging content
- Developing promotional content
- Scheduling social media posts
- Developing and maintaining client guidelines
- Handling a number of different clients at the same time
- Developing audits
- Developing strategies
- Developing reports
- Watching the trends and creating new and innovative ways to promote our brands on social media including identifying new social media platforms for us to utilise on their behalf (example - emoji polls)
- Managing and growing a social media presence and following
- Retaining an audience and converting them into website traffic or leads
- Engaging in outside conversations about the brands we manage, their industries, etc
- Experience with all the major social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, SnapChat, YouTube, etc.
- Using tools such as Slack, Hootsuite, Buffer, Trello, Skype, Google Drive, google Analytics, analytical tools and listening tools
- Staying on top of new feature releases from the social media channels to ensure each client can utilise the new features (such as when Facebook announced the shop feature, or their call-to-action buttons, and when Twitter announced their poll feature, etc)
- Keeping on top of our clients' news
- Tracking client-related industry news and monitor competitors and their content to present ideas on new campaigns
- Utilising user-generated content to create social media content and understand how to use social media content to get our audiences to send us their user-generated content
- Running social media competitions and promotions, and measuring results and success
Would be preferred but not essential (as full training can be given):
- Experience creating graphic images, videos and GIFs
- Experience using InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop/Canva to create social graphics (including infographics, GIFs, etc)
- Knowledge and experience of basic video editing (iMovie, Adobe Premiere, Microsoft Movie Maker, etc)
- Experience developing, maintaining and optimising social media paid ads
- Optimising social media platforms
- Creating influencer partnerships
- Experience with developing UTM's
You must be a self-starter, able to set your own tasks and manage your own work.
You must have an excellent understanding of how all major social media platforms work. Your role will include identifying stories, trending news and conversations relevant to our clients, and create posts that are shared across the Internet and engage in these conversations on behalf of the client.
You must have experience of managing multiple social media accounts at once and an understanding of the tools necessary to measure success.
You must also have an understanding of real time statistics and be able to retrospectively assess the impact of social publishing.
You must understand the principles of good community management, and the importance of tone and style.
You must be familiar with crafting outstanding and shareable social content and be able to write quickly and accurately.
You must be able to work to tight deadlines with minimum supervision and intervention.
You must be an entrepreneurial go-getter who is well organised and motivated.
You must be a fast learner who takes criticism well, and can set high goals for themselves.
You must be a creative thinker who likes to bring new ideas to the table.
This is a fast-paced, high energy role and requires someone who understands how social media works. We want someone who loves working and who loves social media!
