Social media help desperately needed!!

Hi,

I'm an absolute newbie to the wonderful world of social media and blogging. Just started my site www.gerihenderson.com 3 weeks ago and trying desperately hard to raise awareness and build a platform for when I get a book finished.

Really not sure what I need to be doing, or how to do it, but need help building a community however that may be.

I've a limited budget, so would really like to work with someone who has a proven track record and who I can 'test the water' with a bit, before hopefully continue to work with in the long term.
